 # Titus is happy with the results *** Things are starting to turn around and we are slowly gaining our witness spots back from the takeover. As of the time of writing this post, we have reclaimed 7 of the top 20 spots back. It has been awesome to see the community coming together like this to take back our blockchain. This photo shows the recent witness voting activity and as you can see, there has been a massive spike the past few days as people have begun to utilize their witness votes. One thing I hope that everyone takes away from all of this is the importance of voting for witness and the unseen work that they do each day to protect the blockchain. Without the amazing witnesses that we have, we would have lost our Steem Blockchain but with their help and the help of this truly awesome community, we are showing that we can pull through this.
