We Underestimate It!

Sleep seems to be underestimated in today's society.

In a world where everyone seems to be obsessed with grinding their faces off and working all hours of the night, sleep can get lost on some people.

People say you can sleep when you're dead.

What they don't realize is that sleeping makes you more alive!

I'm all for working hard and grinding, but I always make sure to get my 8 hours every night.

I work a lot and at the end of the day, my brain is exhausted. My body is exhausted. My emotions are drained.

Sleep is what recharges me and allows me to wake up to a fresh new day with my game face on.

I saw this on Twitter this morning:

One of the many benefits of sleep is brain health.

When you sleep regularly and get a proper amount of sleep, your brain reorganizes information and makes healthier connections, so to speak.

Your brain **needs** sleep. It's non-negotiable. Lack of sleep can even be deadly in high enough doses!

So here's my PSA to the world tonight: GET YOUR SLEEP ON!

How many hours per night do you sleep? I usually sleep 8-9 hours.
