<div class="text-justify"><p>_ Oh boy!, I'm going to be late, I have to get out of here soon. - Randy said to himself as he tucked in his pants. _ Where are you going so early in the morning? - asked Susana in a sleepy voice. _ I have to go to the university, I have a statistics exam today and I can't afford to be late for that exam. Immediately, Randy grabbed his skateboard and ran out, he thought to take the public transportation at that time of the morning, not a good option for me, I'll call a cab, I can't find any available. It can't be, I must find a way to get out of here, Randy shouted in desperation. He got on his skateboard and began to roll on the asphalt, he was zigzagging between the cars to move as fast as he could, his goal was to get to his friend Tomás' house, before he left with his mother for university, he was her only option at the time. With only a few blocks to go, he met a group of traffic policemen, who diverted the vehicles, since municipal workers were working on that street. He stopped to think, what would be the best way out at that moment, he suddenly remembered that nearby there was a park that led to a small forest which he could cross, that way he would gain more time to catch up with Tomás, he got on his skateboard again and started to move. The park was alone, so going through it was a piece of cake. Quickly, he reached the forest, the ground was steep, sliding down there was not as easy as he expected, he had to strain his legs to go as fast as he could, he heard how the wheels of his skateboard rattled every time they passed over gravel stones, he thought out loud I'm going to destroy my skateboard. He began to feel how a thin thread of his secretion went down his back, while tears of sweat bathed his face, I must continue rolling, I can't postpone this exam, I don't want to hear my mother's laments nor my father's scoldings and much less to see again the face of that irritating teacher, thought Randy. When he left the forest he was able to roll his skateboard faster and arrived at his friend's house in a jiffy, at that moment Tomas' mother opened the door of the house, who looked at him with a distressed face and asked him: _ Randy, what's going on? What's the rush? _ Hello Mrs. Smith, where's Tomás? _ Tomas is sleeping in his room _ But how can he not take the statistics exam? _ Randy you didn't hear, the Professor has given him covid, the exam was suspended until further notice.</p></div> **** **** <H9>This story is to participate in the weekly contest <a href="https://ecency.com/hive-161155/@freewritehouse/a-picture-is-worth-a-thousand-words-8202022">a picture is worth a thousand words organized by @freewritehouse</H9> <H9>The cover image was taken [Pixabay](https://pixabay.com/nl/photos/skateboard-schoenen-actief-5326930/)</H9> <H9>Completely original content</H9>
