 Slowly but surely cryptocurrencies are being accepted by retailers. 

The fact that a few jewelers have started accepting cryptocurrencies will put pressure on the other jewelers to do so too because otherwise they may lose out to the competition.   

The same logic could be applied to the other retailer too. That will sooner or later set in motion competition among the retailer to accept as many cryptocurrencies as possible. 

Nay sayers are going to be proven wrong again.
