It has been an awesome month indeed!

I was supposed to start mid-May however my registration took too long - I waited for almost 2 weeks before I can access my account. It also took me a few days before I decided to start posting. So far, so good. Steemit.com has been a rewarding experience, I mean I literally get rewards.

*Trivia: It's been a month and I still don't have an "Introduce Yourself" post.*

I've earned a lot in here compared to how much I earned at work. I can't use my earnings to build up my account yet since I had to cash them out to take care of some important things at home like baby's needs and the bills.

I got really motivated when my post got upvoted by the @curie trail. So far that was my highest earning post.

I actually made tons of posts and not all of them would sell. My posts had variations on it, from art to crypto-related posts, to literature, random photos, I even joined Steemgigs and made Steemgigs/contests of my own (some a failure, some a success).

Take a look at these, it's basically the same post/story, just split in half, made it a 2 part post/collab with @haneun. Mine didn't earn and hers got 24 bucks! I even had more followers than her and spent more time marketing that post.

The @philippinetrail I started is also doin real great, I even talk to myself using that account when needed haha. It's a project I'm working on for fellow Filipino Steemians. So far the charity projects have been doing well.

# There's 2 things I've learned: <h1>
- Be consistent.
- Be friendly.

### You have to be consistent. <h3>
On anything you do: your posts, your comments, the way you upvote, the way you communicate, being friendly. It always helps. If you post inconsistently, be consistent about it too. Haha. I may be joking about that line there but it's actually true. People will not know what you post and some people like being surprised. Just be consistent on quality, that's the very important thing there. Even if it's one single photo your posting, it has to be a quality photo for it to matter! (Quality does not apply if you're already earning a lot from your shitposts)

### You have to have tons of friends. <h3>
That means be part of a community. Three communities? A community of communities? This ain't plain social media, Steemit.com is a country full of varieties of people, posts, which all comes together in sets of communities. Find your niche, join. No man is an island!

*PS: Do not whine if your post earns cents and you made it for hours! It doesn't work that way, that just means you're missing something. Do trial and errors. Do experiments. Be a mad scientist! Succeed in creating a Frankenstein Monster out of your posts, but please don't die.*
