The glutinous rice steamed to become pulut in aceh language is called "bulukat", this pulut has significance in the tradition of Aceh society. In fact, almost every ceremony held in Aceh, never escaped with the dish of the menu of bulukat. It could be said "bulukat" or pulut this is the main thing that must exist in every event, both joy and sorrow event.

Pulut is a very special food dish for the people of Aceh, Bulukat most often found in the event of fresh flour or in the language of Aceh called peusijuek. On big occasions and loaded peusijuek events, usually prepared a special place for the cuisine of bucuk. After the peusijuek ritual, the bulukat is eaten together. Just like the picture I took, this is the sticky rice or bulukat I get from pesijuek event, pesijuek is one of the rituals or custom procession in aceh society culture, Tradition is usually done to beg for salvation, peace, and happiness in life. The Peusijuek tradition is one of the traditions that have existed since ancient times, and is still practiced today. This tradition is usually done in almost all the customary activities of the Acehnese people, such as customary weddings, traditional celebrations, thanksgiving and other traditional ceremonies.
