<p><div class="text.justify">DEREK was born in the USA. His parents were workers and he did not need anything.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">Derek's parents were very strict especially when it came to education. They ran Derek's life as if he were a robot.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">Derek isn't exactly charismatic; he was a very withdrawn young man. As a boy it was hard for him to make friends and the few he got were gadgets like him.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">While watching television, he listened to a rock band and loved the sound of the guitar. He fell in love with the sound. He began to dream of buying one and learning to play it.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">Dereck spent his school years being an exemplary student with excellent grades. Everything to keep his guitar and be able to take his lessons.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">He had a talent for the guitar but it was a dressing device. I couldn't leave retro fashion.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">He managed to join a music group in his hometown thanks to his talent. I create some songs too.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">The group was doing well. They kept showing up whenever they could. And they planned a national tour for the band.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">Although Derek enjoyed the introductions, he couldn't improve his social skills or abandon the retro style. This caused clashes with the other members of the group.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">Let's say Derek was a toad from another well. At the end of the national tour, the rest of the group decided to expel him.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">He was a victim of his nerdy personality.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">Derek wasn't about to give up and tried to start another band. But there was no case, the musicians he contacted had no chemistry with him.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">Tried to look into another band but couldn't find one that would accept him.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">She ended up looking for an administrative job at a company. That's what he studied for. And at work he moved like a fish in water.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">He did not return to his musical career, although he continues to take guitar lessons. He plays the guitar in solitude reminiscing about his days with the band. He did not get to know fame but he did fulfill his dream of playing the guitar and also ventured into the music industry.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">DEREK nació en EEUU. Sus padres eran trabajadores y no pasó necesidades.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">Los padres de Derek eran muy estrictos especialmente en materia de educación.  Dirigían la vida de Derek como si fuera un robot.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">Derek no rea muy carismático que digamos; era un joven muy retraído. De chico le costaba hacer amigos y los poco que conseguía eran aparatos como él.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">Viendo la televisión escucho un grupo de rock y le encantó el sonido de la guitarra.  Se enamoró del sonido.  Comenzó a soñar con comprarse una y aprender a tocarla.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">Luego de comentarle la idea a los padres cientos de veces le permitieron comprar una e ir a estudiar guitarra.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">Dereck paso sus años de escuela siendo un alumno ejemplar con excelentes calificaciones. Todo para mantener su guitarra y poder tomar sus lecciones.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">Tenía talento para la guitarra pero era un aparato para vestirse.  No podía dejar la moda retro.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">Logró incorporarse a un grupo de música en su ciudad natal gracias a su talento.  Creo algunas canciones también.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">No le iba mal al grupo. Seguían presentándose en cuanto lugar podía.  Y planearon una gira nacional para la banda.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">Si bien Dereck disfrutó de las presentaciones no pudo mejorar sus habilidades sociales ni abandonar el estilo retro.  Esto provocó encontronazos con los otros miembros del grupo.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">Digamos que Derek era sapo de otro pozo.  Al terminar la gira nacional el resto del grupo decidió expulsarlo.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">Fue víctima de su personalidad nerd.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">Derek no estaba dispuesto a rendirse y trató de formar otra banda. Pero no hubo caso, los músicos que contactaba no tenían química con él.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">Trató de buscar incorporarse a otra banda pero no logró encontrar alguna que lo aceptara.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">Terminó buscando un trabajo administrativo en una empresa.  Para eso había estudiado.  Y en el trabajo se movía como pez en el agua.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">Empezó a escalar posiciones y se transformó en un gerente exitoso. Eso era lo suyo.</div><p>

<p><div class="text.justify">No volvió a retomar su carrera musical, aunque sigue tomando lecciones de guitarra.  Toca la guitarra en soledad recordando sus días con la banda.  No llegó a conocer la fama pero si cumplió su sueño de tocar la guitarra y además, incursionó en la industria de la música.</div><p>
