Today, I wanted to write an update about my ongoing adventure in developing a WordPress plugin I'm calling [wp-dapp](https://diggndeeper.com/wp-dapp/). The aim of this plugin is to let users update and publish content straight to the Hive blockchain from their WordPress sites. As a newbie coder, I've had my fair share of ups and downs, and I wanted to share my journey with you and ask for your help.

Over the past few weeks, I've been working hard on the plugin, with over 20 hours into it just last week and sadly not really much to show for it. That said, this experience has been an interesting learning curve, and I've gained a lot of knowledge about WordPress plugin development, Git & GitHub, brushing up on PHP, .js and the Hive blockchain and more, all of which I look forward to continue learning about.

That said, I've hit a few snags along the way. One big issue I've faced is not being able to publish content to the Hive blockchain using the plugin. I've been keeping my progress up to date on [GitHub](https://github.com/DiggnDeeper/wp-dapp), but I can't seem to crack the problem. My current focus is on integrating the Hive Keychain, which I suspect might be where my failure and lack of understanding lies. As a coding rookie, I know I might be missing some crucial steps or best practices.

So tonight, I figured it's time to switch things up and ask you all for some help and advice. I'm sure that with your support, we can tackle these challenges together and create an awesome plugin for the Hive and WordPress communities.
