I started with the Hive chain to play the game splinterlands. After the first 2 days I started to explore what hive was. It wasn't long before I started to see it was a vast array of networks, projects and utilities that made blockchain simple and easy to understand.
The first major WOW moment I got was the use of resource credits. This utility implemented by Hive is a great concept to have. Not only does it provide a steady stream of user activity. It stops potential negative actions being performed.
The second was the Hive Power utility that allowed users to continue to post and interact with the many services available. This again stops wrong doings but more importantly, it provides users of social and gaming projects to be in control so to speak of the community that it is tied to.
The third had been when i saw that the network was huge. With games, social, design and creative aspects built into one massive vault of secure blockchain technology.
I am still new to this fantastic chain and I'm sure I will continue to find surprises long into my journey of exploration.
