The invention is distinguished from other similar developments in that agents are able to target exactly on malignant cells. Article scientists published in the journal Nature Nanotechnology.</p> <p>Nano cyborgs are flagellated bacteria that carry the drugs inside. They can find lots oxygen-poor - so-called hypoxic zones that are located in tumors. Such areas appear due to the significant mass of oxygen consumption growing cells and characterized by high resistance to most treatment methods, including radiation therapy.</p> <p>The bacteria are equipped with a chain of magnetic nanoparticles, which plays the role of a compass. It allows them to move along the magnetic field. Furthermore, they have sensors that monitor the oxygen concentration. Nano cyborgs thus find the tumor, due to the influence of the field, and then attack the hypoxic zone medicines.</p> <p>A total of the human body will be administered about one hundred millions of such agents.</p> </html>
