## Off the Grid, On the Drift

This is my participation in the **[Finish This Drawing challenge 9 by @shookt ](https://peakd.com/hive-140877/@shookt/finish-this-drawing-9
)**.
The original image (see below) was a simple line sketch of a small shack with a slanted roof, some rough boards, and a few logs in the foreground. It had this loose line drawing just enough structure to suggest a scene, but open enough to make your own interpretation.

I decided to turn it into a floating house on a wooden raft, drifting gently down a river. The loose logs became part of the story like it’s moving through a logging current or a forest stream after heavy rain. I added color and texture to bring out a mood: quiet, a bit weathered, and slightly off-the-grid situation.

Really enjoyed building a little world around the sketch
