I chanced upon an article online about Toshi. What it is, is a Dapp browser for the Ethereum network. A quick download of the app ( Android and iOS available) showed me that you can type a URL on it and start browsing just like how you do on other web browsers. I still need to find out how good the experience is as I am encountering an issue with my internet connection earlier. They say sensitive information like private keys never leave the user's computer which I think is a good selling point for this project. That is honestly my main concern when it comes to privacy and security dealing with online wallets and exchanges. I quite like that idea. Toshi is a way to use decentralized apps built on the Ethereum network take for example CryptoKitties and Leeroy. You can download the app if you want to know how it works as I am no longer interested in the Kitty thingy. :) Toshi works as a secure mobile Ethereum wallet too which I think is good news for me. Toshi also enables p2p payments, commerce, and a way to store ETH tokens. I wonder how much tokens can I keep in there... This app is also an identity and reputation system but I am more looking forward to the future tools that they can add to it. They say Toshi will provide universal access to __financial services__. They are particularly talking about financial inclusions which would empower the people especially the poverty-stricken ones. Here are the tools they are talking about: Private property rights Access to sound money Ability to get a job Ability to get an education Ability to get a loan Should they be able to bring these tools into fruition I believe Toshi will be a success and I would want to be a part of it. I can not wait to hear from them. *Photo credit to Toshi*
