The community has decided in our <a href="https://peakd.com/hive-189641/@diyhub/poll-proposed-change-to-our-payout-strategy">most recent poll 📊</a> to reduce the delegators' payout from 100% to 80%.<br><br>This change will free up funds for @DIYHub authors and help secure our contest prizes.

Because of that the curation rewards have been calculated over only 2 days of curation. In 7 days all the receivers will get their full 7 days payment.

<div class="text-justify">In the past weeks, we have collectively considered ways to ensure transparency. We all agreed to create a new account, @DIYHub.Funds. This account will receive a 100% withdrawal route from @DIYHub, while we continue our recurring 90% withdrawal to generate liquid HIVE for our payouts so @DIHub.Funds will receive all of the powered down HIVE in future.<br><br>The account @DIYHub.Funds will then manage the distribution of the curation rewards as follows:<br><br>

<div class="text-justify">After we have paid out all the rewards and sent our future contest prizes to HBD savings, @DIYHub.Funds will then send 50% of the remaining HIVE to power up @DIYHub. This way, we won't lose as much HP as in the past by holding liquid HIVE. We keep 50% in @DIYHub.Funds in case we unexpectedly generate more curation rewards than usual, ensuring we don't run out of liquid HIVE. Right now this parameter is set pretty pessimistically because we want to keep being able to pay out our stakeholders every single time. We are going to decrease the 50% allocation over time as we make experiences in this new way of fund management.</div>
