STEEMIT RECORD POOL is a community-based medium that offers the opportunity to share music with more listeners. 

This initiative was developed by fellow passionate music lovers, @djlethalskillz and @vandigital, with the goal of bringing all our favorite music to one convenient source -- the Steemit Record Pool.

##  <center>How To Add Music To The Record Pool</center>

1. Create a post with the audio/video embedded. 
2. **In your own words** include a description of the song and it's significance to you.
3. Include the tags, "**recordpool**" and **"songoftheday**", as primary and secondary tags, respectively.

Every week we reward exemplary posts that are well-thought-out and edifying to the community. That's right! You can be rewarded for simply sharing music you enjoy.

## <center>The Rules</center>
Every participant must meet the following requirements to qualify:
- Upvote this post.
- The title of your post must include "**Steemit Record Pool**". 
  - For example, "**Steemit Record Pool | Artist - Song Title**".
- Include the tags, "**recordpool**" and "**songoftheday**", as primary and secondary tags, respectively.
- Comment below with your post link and your Bitshares account name. 
  - A Bitshares account is required to receive the rewards. If you're not registered with Bitshares, click [here](https://bitshares.openledger.info/?r=akrid-1) to open a free account.
- **One entry per participant**. You may be disqualified for posting additional entries in the comment section. So, select your entry wisely.
- Cite the sources of your research and images.
