How bad the title of this review reads to you probably tells you how much you are going to like the second part of the show. I'll go ahead and link my review of Part one because largely I would just be repeating the same talking points. Also, I want to point out that typically my reviews will only happen when I finish the season or the show gives me no reason to keep watching, neither of which has happened here. What happened is I didn't realize this was going to be thirteen episodes, not twelve. So I used my time to watch this over something else, so here we are. Basically, I screwed up, and am doing this one episode early because I'm a dumbass.

As for part two, you do get a bit more world-building going on. You start to get more of an understanding of the politics and some more insight into The Handler, which is all nice. I continue to just not like the episodes revolving around Anya's School life, and the longer the show goes on the more obvious the cracks become. In the end, the show is pretty much held together by Twilight, and the more often he isn't there the more obvious it is the rest of the cast isn't that strong. I'm certainly not saying it's simply not good when he's not directly involved, because I did get some laughs with Anya alone with some charming moments. But a lot of that is largely forgettable.

I also just did not enjoy Nightfall. We already had the one super-obsessed character with Yors brother, so having it again with one of Twilight's coworkers just isn't that interesting. Again, it leads to some funny bits, but nothing that felt like it needed to be her there. The show is just slowly moving forward episode by episode with a series of semi-related scenes and jokes.

At the end of the day though that is fine. Yeah, I do think they could do a better job with the characters, but the show still has all kinds of charm. I do care about Twilight and seeing this family stay together, I had more than a few laughs, and Yor continues to be very easy on the eyes. I may have cooled off on the show since the first season, but I am still enjoying it and looking forward to the next season.
