These are the questions that some might be asking when we hear numerous instances of wrongdoing by the hands of the police in areas around the U.S. Why isn't more being done to stop the problem? The ACLU and others are trying to investigate and get real answers to those issues.
https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2016/07/20/20/51/car-1531273_960_720.jpg
It has been previously uncovered that there might be a pattern of excessive force present in certain departments and more needs to be done to deal with that threat. # This poses a danger to the community and it signals that there are bad actors operating outside of the bounds of authority.

If they are engaging in 'excessive force' that isn't taught or advocated by department policies then that should see a strict punishment. Officers shouldn't be allowed to abuse members of the public, harass, assault, or murder them unjustly, without seeing consequences for it. How safe are we if we cannot guarantee that basic level of decency for the police to be held to as a standard ? When we have *multiple instances of police being caught on video* saying that they can basically do whatever they want then it becomes glaringly obvious that *there is a problem* with that average mindset if they think the badge allows them to do whatever they want. When you have actors in your ranks that are openly and unapologetically engaging in tyranny against the public then you cannot be surprised when you get a PR problem or start having some recruitment issues. We have seen this happen time and time again and thankfully there have been videos to bring light to this sort of wrongdoing because it should never be acceptable in any area of the U.S. Regardless, no matter what sort of tyranny the state engages in you can always expect there will be some fool on Fox news or elsewhere on the internet that is trying to desperately *justify that state abuse* because bootlicking and defending authoritarianism just comes natural to them.
