Entrepreneurship can be a scary idea, and many people think that it's too hard to start their own business so many will never even venture out to try. But taking the chance to do something that you truly love can quite often turn out to be a very fulfilling and successful decision to make. Some critics of entrepreneurship say that it's rather unstable because you don't get paid unless you get to work and make things happen. And this is true, that you don't know if you'll get paid unless you get those sales or get that work done, there is that insecurity associated. But does anyone ever really have job employment? Didn't the thousands of workers who got fired during the 2008 collapse feel that they had job security? What about the many workers who have their full-time hours cut to just below the threshold of full-time, being categorized instead as part-time so that they don't get certain coverage? I'd say that there is ultimately no job security when your business has the chance to go bankrupt, or when labor needs to be unexpectedly cut due to decreased sales, or a myriad of other issues can go wrong which would result in unexpected termination. It can feel risky to take the leap and try to create your own business by serving others in the market, but sometimes it can really pay of big in the long run, and you won't know unless you try. As an employee you are set at a certain income, you know exactly (for the most part) how much you will bring in every day. As an entrepreneur you have ultimately no limit, you could make $100 in one day or you could make $100,000, it just depends on how many people's needs you are meeting in the market. For some people they do take a large pay-cut though when they leave their 9-5 and they go instead to doing something else, but maybe that would be an okay trade-off for you? If you could do what you really loved and enjoyed every minute of the day that you did it, would it matter if you made a little less money? Some end-up with less, some end-up struggling and don't make it at all, but then for others it's a much different story; where it pays off bigger than they ever could have dreamed and changes their life forever. You can't know what will happen until you take the chance and do it.
http://inspiminds.files.wordpress.com/2012/08/iamentrepreneur1240_desktop-wallpaper.jpg
Is there anything that you really love doing? Or something that you really wish you could do for a job? Are you gifted at anything that you think you could do or provide for others? Could you teach guitar lessons? Start your own catering business? Edit papers for writers? Start your own lawn-mowing business? Babysit for others? Clean people's houses? There are a variety of different things that you can choose to do. Once you have thought about what your special skills are or what you really enjoy doing, then the next step would be to focus attention and effort on growing and perfecting that skill even more. But if you really love what you're doing then this part is going to be easy. There are so many ways to get involved in self-employment, and thanks to the internet you don't need much money to get started in doing a myriad of services, or marketing your product or business. You could start a website or a Youtube channel in minutes and start reaching millions of people instantly. If you've got good content, if you've got something the people want, then the market will respond. Entrepreneurship can help you to fulfill your dreams, it can bring more peace and joy to your life, and it can even help you to change the world. Many entrepreneurs have changed our lives for the better because of the products and services that they have brought to the market. With entrepreneurship we can embrace creativity, we can indulge and chase after our dreams.
