Things Will Get Back To Normal

The way things are today will not always be that way and eventually things will return to normal.

Returning to normal will look like businesses opening up again and people being allowed to move and peacefully gather in groups and at events, without being made into criminals.

People won't always be driving around in their cars with masks and gloves. You won't always need to get in line for an hour to get your groceries at the grocery store, or wait a month for grocery delivery to get to your order.

The shelves at the stores will be stocked again, hotels that are closed will open back up, and flights around the world will resume.

Stores that have temporarily stopped accepting cash will likely resort back to accepting that payment method within a few weeks or months. You will be able to find toilet paper and sanitizer eventually.

And if you are someone saying *you hope things don't go back to normal,* well for you they don't have to. You get to decide how you are going to live, but try not to decide that for others.

Millions of others might want those businesses back open and their sports back, television programs, movie theaters, and their general standard of living to go back to where they believed it was before the lockdown.

Prior to the virus becoming the topic of the day, nobody was prevented from choosing to live as self sufficiently as they wanted; whatever freedoms were afforded by the state (if they could grow food in their area etc).

Those who were more self sufficient obviously might have had better luck and less worry as things started to slow down around them with goods and services that they might be used to. But those who prefer self sufficiency *shouldn't have a need to force their communities and everyone around them to live the same way*.

Why? Because very simply, not everyone wants to embrace the same level of self-sufficiency. Others might want to be less self sufficient and to trade voluntarily and peacefully with others and they should always be free to do so. It would be unjust violence to try and stop them from engaging in peaceful trade, from one individual to another.

If you want to drop normal for self sufficiency, because you think it "wasn't working", the truth is that *nobody was ever stopping you from pursuing that in your life,* you are free to embrace your own independence at any time. Stop waiting for permission. Just don't expect others to value the same level of self sufficiency that you do, or think that you have a right to use force to create that sort of environment or community.
