 Recently, I had the opportunity to spend time with three of the most important people in my life at the same time. For me, it was like a gift, because it was something I had been hoping for, but amid daily activities and distance, it hadn't been possible. Finally, I went out with my nieces and my son. My son feels a special connection with them. Despite the obvious age difference, he adores and admires his cousins, especially my niece Luisana, with whom he has had the opportunity to spend more time. In school activities where he is asked to draw or talk about his family, he always mentions her and says she is his sister.  During the holidays, Luisana spent a few days with me. We spent time together and made up for some lost time, since she lives with my parents in another town. This afternoon, I wanted to take them to La Isla Park, a very beautiful park where fun and nature come together. But before leaving home, my other niece, Paola, who is 19, texted me: “Auntie, can I come to your house?” At first, I was concerned; she is living with my brother because she is studying at university, but despite being closer, we haven't seen each other much. However, she knows that I will be here whenever she needs me, and how could I not be when she was the first princess to call me auntie? We're going out, I replied, do you want to come with us? She said yes right away, and we met up to go to the park. We had a different kind of afternoon and enjoyed ourselves quite a bit.  To me, my nephews are like my first children, although my male nephews are actually more like my brothers, because we grew up together and formed a relationship more like that of siblings. They know they can always count on me, and I know I can count on them too. I would like to spend more time with them and my family in general, which is why I value every opportunity that comes my way.   We arrived at the park and they took the opportunity to take photos and talk; they also hadn't spent time together in a while. Meanwhile, my son enjoyed the park's attractions; deep down, they wanted to go down the big slides and spent the afternoon deciding whether to do it or not; in the end, fear or perhaps shyness got the better of them and they missed out on the experience.   Then we went downtown, accompanied my niece to some anime stores, and came across the Scooby Doo truck. My son recognized it immediately and, of course, took pictures with it.    Before dark, we took the bus back home. It was a wonderful afternoon. ------ ------   Hace poco, se me presentó la oportunidad de compartir al mismo tiempo con tres de las personas más importantes de mi vida; para mí fue como un regalo, porque es algo que esperaba, pero en medio de las actividades diarias y la distancia no había sido posible. Al fin salí en compañía de mis sobrinas y mi hijo. Mi hijo siente una conexión especial con ellas; a pesar de la evidente diferencia de edad, él adora y admira a sus primas, principalmente a mi sobrina Luisana, con quien ha tenido oportunidad de pasar más tiempo. En las actividades escolares donde le piden que dibuje o que hable sobre su familia, siempre la nombra y dice que es su hermana.  En vacaciones, Luisana pasó unos días conmigo, pasamos tiempo juntas y recuperamos algo del tiempo perdido, ya que ella vive con mis papás en otro municipio. Esta tarde quería llevarlos al parque La Isla; este es un parque muy bonito, donde la diversión y la naturaleza se unen. Pero antes de salir de casa, mi otra sobrina Paola, de 19 años, me escribe: "Tía, ¿puedo ir a tu casa?". Al principio me preocupé; ella está viviendo con mi hermano, porque está estudiando en la universidad, pero a pesar de estar más cerca, no hemos coincidido mucho, pero ella sabe que estaré aquí, cada vez que ella me necesite, y cómo no serlo si fue la primera princesa que me dijo tía. Vamos de salida, respondí, ¿quieres ir con nosotros? Ella me dijo que sí de inmediato y nos encontramos para ir al parque. Pasamos una tarde diferente y disfrutamos bastante.  Para mí, mis sobrinos son como mis primeros hijos, aunque mis sobrinos varones, en realidad, son como mis hermanos, porque crecimos juntos y formamos una relación más parecida a la hermandad. Ellos saben que pueden contar conmigo siempre y yo sé que puedo contar con ellos también. Me gustaría pasar más tiempo con ellos y mi familia en general, por eso valoro cada oportunidad que se me presente.   Llegamos al parque y ellas aprovecharon para tomarse fotos y hablar; ellas también tenían tiempo sin compartir. Mientras tanto, mi niño disfrutaba de las atracciones del parque; ellas en el fondo querían lanzarse en los toboganes grandes y pasaron la tarde decidiendo si hacerlo o no; al final, el miedo o tal vez la timidez les ganó y se perdieron la experiencia.   Después nos fuimos al centro de la ciudad, acompañamos a mi sobrina a unas tiendas de anime y nos encontramos con la camioneta de Scooby Doo. Mi niño la reconoció de inmediato y por supuesto, se toma fotos con ella.    Antes de oscurecer, tomamos el autobús para regresar a casa.
