Recently I have been thinking about school and how much success and failure we can see and experience.

I was reminded of my brothers under 16 A rugby team. Few years back I remember the amount of time and training the team did together as well as the team building exercises. They would run around the whole school carrying wooden polls, in teams of 2, and singing. You could probably hear them singing on the other side of the school. 

Nearing the end of the season my brothers team became even more popular than our first team. There was almost 3 times the amount of people watching their games than what there were watching the first team games. That season they came first in their age group in their challenge group. The whole school was super excited and the news of this spread for months throughout the school. 

Looking back at each game they played I saw that there were many mistakes in their games, many failed attempts in structure and game play. Their games were not perfect and they had lost one friendly match against another school. 

The other schools might have lost to them, but in every match the other schools had their moments of success.

What we see
-----------

Often we just see the success, but we don't see the rest that lead to that success.

Success is built off of failures, nothing ever works perfectly the first time you try it. Even when you have achieved success It will not be perfect. Every success has many failures that eventually lead to that one thing you do that works. Many inventions throughout the years had many failures before the right way was found.

Conclusion

Key to success is to never give up, if you fail 100 times you just found 100 ways how not to do something.
