###  I have been using Ethereum Freewallet app on my iphone for a while and  at some point I decided to transfer all my funds on another wallet and get rid of it completely. I'll tell you why in just a bit.

### First of all I would like to say that Freewallet is an extremely well build wallet for mobile. Really minimalist with a modern design. It's easy to use and straight to point. You can easily send and receive funds and also convert them to other currencies from within the app without the need to use a service like Shapeshift. 

### Talking about security, they claim to put all the funds on separate cold storage to ensure maximum safety. But, here is the catch with this app. They don't provide you with your private key nor a backup phrase. Everything you own depends on your email. If your email gets stolen, well shit. This is the main problem and this is why I chose to have a wallet that ensures customers with FULL CONTROL on their funds. If you are looking for a reliable wallet to hold your funds on your mobile device you should search for a app that gives the users maximum control. If you lose your private key, then it's your problem.

### Don't get me wrong, Freewallet is an extremely convenient wallet which features currencies like Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum , Doge, Steem and many others. I don't discourage you to use it but for me ,when I've sent them an email asking where would my funds go when (or if) they will close the app they responded me with an off topic copy paste. Anyways, if you'd like to hear my advice go forward and read carefully: DON'T TRUST WALLETS THAT GIVE YOU 0 CONTROL.
