30 Days Writing Challenge, Day 21: Do You Have A Crypto Portfolio? If Yes, Do You Manage It? How?
_This is the twenty first question / topic of the 30 days writing challenge I announced a couple of days ago. The total amount in prizes is 90,000 SNAX and it's being distributed as 3 daily prices of 1,000 SNAX each. For all the details, please check [this post](https://steemit.com/steemit/@dragosroua/save-the-date-the-next-30-days-challenge-starts-monday-may-20-90-000-snax-in-prizes)._

Let's face it: crypto currencies are just cryptographic signatures stored in a slow, distributed database. That's all there is to it, really. Everything on top of this is either marketing, or speculation.

The good news is that "traditional" investment options are just the same: shares are just pieces of paper with some value on it. What makes them "valuable" is the same thing that makes crypto currencies "valuable": agreement. Or how much one agrees to pay in order to have ownership over one of these conventions.

This short introductions was meant to let you know that these cryptographic signatures stored in slow, distributed databases can, and most of the time have, a lot of value. And that value depends on many factors, but the fundamental factor is _your own decision_. They become valuable only form the moment you decide to change their ownership, to move them around.

As such, these cryptocurrencies are organized in a portfolio. Wether you know it or not, from the moment you got your first shitcoin from a shady airdrop you became an investor. That first crypto token was the first asset in your portfolio.

So, how do you manage it? Are you a hardcore HODler? A speculator, riding the wave of marketing stories? A day trader scalping 2-3 pips at a time?

Would love to know your approaches and strategies.

IMPORTANT: please state your SNAX username in the post, so I know to which account to send the prize, should you be amongst the lucky winners! Thank you!
