0.000 HBDCryptoWars Update - The e11 Experimental Game To Be Launched In January
*** Pairing gaming with crypto seems to be some sort of Nirvana in the current fintech world and, if we judge by the viral effects of CryptoKitties, it's a very profitable Nirvana. A fintech startup called Experimental, which, in their ICO, only allowed 300 contributors to join, is working on a game called CryptoWars, which, as far as I understand, will be _the first strategy game to run entirely on Ethereum smart contracts_. In an update posted on the [Experimental blog](https://blog.e11.io/tiburcio-de-la-carcova-head-of-growth-at-xapo-joins-experimentals-boa-335815c2e7bb), the team announced today that the game will be launched this month. The MVP of the game will be available only to the initial group of founders. It's an interesting update, considering that in the initial plan, the first project of the company should have stretched to about a year. They seem to hurry and in this case, hurrying might be a good thing. But even more interesting in the aforementioned blog post is the announcement about a new team member: Tiburcio de la Carcova. Chances to have heard about him are relatively small, but chances to have heard about the company at which he works are very high: he is the product and growth manager of XAPO. Yes, that XAPO. The fact that somebody from a prominent debit card linked to crypto is joining a crypto gaming startup is relevant, in my opinion. I think we might hear about these guys and their CryptoWars game very, very soon. _Disclaimer: I am one of the first 300 initial contributors to Experimental and I hold some e11 tokens._ *** _I'm a serial entrepreneur, blogger and ultrarunner.
