Hello everyone, it's a pleasure to be here! I've really enjoyed the posts from this community and decided to share a bit about my day.

*A Close Encounter with Tree Spinach*
Today, I ventured out to the farm this evening to harvest some vegetables. In my locality, we call it "Iyanapaja," but it's more widely known as tree spinach, belonging to the genus *Cnidoscolus spp.*
We frequently gather this to prepare some incredibly delicious meals. While it naturally has a bitter taste, my mum has a magical touch that transforms it into something truly wonderful – I've tried cooking it myself, but it still comes out bitter for me!

This plant tends to spread quite a bit if not regularly trimmed, growing into dense bushes that can sometimes shelter other organisms. What I dislike most, though, is the itchy sap it releases when cut. I even resorted to wearing nylon on my hands today just to handle it! 😂 Despite the minor discomfort, it was fascinating to observe this plant up close again.
