17.107 HBDSplinterlands Strategy: Mastering the Void and Void Armor Skills with Elf Lineage Cards
Hello everyone! Welcome back to @dreloop07, to talk about @splinterlands, but specifically about the Earth deck regarding the cards of the "Elf" lineage. | *This publication was also writen in ENGLISH and PORTUGUESE .* | |---| Hello this post is a onboard introduction project from BR audience, PORTUGUESE VERSION AT THE END. As many of you know, the "Elf" lineage, present in Splinters such as Earth, Life and Dragon, offers versatile options to maximize these abilities, creating robust and adaptable decks. We will analyze the mechanics, synergies, key cards and strategies to dominate the battlefield. In this context, two abilities stand out in the formation of this type of Earth deck: "Void" and "Void Armor". Void: Reduces the magic damage suffered by the card's health by 50 (rounded up). If the magic attack has power 1, the damage is reduced to 0. Void Armor, on the other hand, makes magic attacks hit the card's armor before affecting its health. Combined with high armor or abilities such as Repair (which restores armor) or Protect (which adds +2 armor to the entire team), this ability makes cards extremely resistant to magic attacks. These abilities are particularly useful in battle rules like Wands Out (only magic units allowed) or Equalizer (all units start with the same maximum health), where controlling magic damage can be decisive. In fact, the match in which I'm demonstrating strategy with these skills has the "Armored Up" rule that strengthens the armor attribute, which will be more useful if you have cards with "Void Armor" skills, as this way you can free your health from all possible attacks, while you have armor. https://splinterlands.com/battle/sl_a235e0b104e53167cb9d66554d983e44?ref=dreloop07 As in this match above, which had this battle rule, fearing being targeted by "Bast" ability cards, I positioned my key cards in secondary positions to avoid this additional damage. In addition to already having the "Legionary" card in this deck, which is very useful with "Void" protection, thanks to the "Elf" lineage of the earth summoner, I was able to add to this deck the card from the water deck "Thanalorian" which has the "Void Armor" ability. In addition to its second ability, "Corrosive ward", which can be quite damaging with this type of rule, for the armor of the opposing deck in this match, even with a tank with the "heal" ability, what really made a difference in containing this offensive in the first position was this combination of "void" and "void armor", and this second was only possible thanks to the "elf" lineage. Now in this second match scenario, a game focused on attacks in the first position of my deck, thanks to the "Fog of war" rule. This reinforces the need for greater protection, especially against magical attacks, which is why another important skill in this scenario is "repair". https://splinterlands.com/battle/sl_b2a08a80b4cfabe6b5fc4883e28cba3f?ref=dreloop07 That's why a card that plays an important role in strategy in this sense is the conclave, despite the battle rule prohibiting the use of its "opportunity" ability that gives mobility to its attack, its defensive role remains active, which is to recover the armor of my armored card. This helps to protect in this match that is almost entirely made up of magic attack cards. Of course, in this sense, the synergy with Magic Reflect: Combine Void with Magic Reflect (returns reduced magic damage to the attacker), in my search for lineage I did not find anything like this. Don't forget that our summoner "Kaylia" works in this sense, since she reduces magical attacks, which highlights the importance of strategies with these abilities, especially in battle rules that prioritize the use of magical attacks, such as high armor, speed or support abilities. Below, we highlight some elven cards that have or synergize well with these abilities, focusing on their statistics and strategic roles. ## Considerations: So, that's it folks! I hope you enjoyed the tips to enrich yourknowledge, using an earth deck, especially with cards from the "Elf" lineage that brings this synergy of abilities that a deck marked by magic cards needs.
