My Way To The Stokes Cafė Via The Steep Hill
As it has been a lovely sunny day here in the historic Roman City Lincoln, UK I decided to take a walk to have a nice cup of coffee. I always passed by this cafè, but never tried it. I thought it is time to have a go.

Each time I walk down I have to take the steep hill. The hill was nominated and was selected as the great street in Britain in 2012.

The steep hill has its charm and private individual shops on both sides. You can find here fine chocolate shops, a fudge maker, gift shops, tea rooms and the list goes on.

The cafè itself is an old house which was build in the 19th. century and restored in 1902. They do table service here and the waitresses are friendly and they wear this old-fashioned uniform. They actually look like a housemaid from "You rang M'lord". Unfortunately I don't have a photo of them, but I managed to take one of the house.

It is located at a nice spot in the City centre just by a river. It's called the High Bridge Cafè.
