I have admired your work for a long time, it's sad to see you unfollow me over a disagreement like this.

I don't support Putin, the guy is a complete asshole, but I also don't support the common media narrative of "Putin bad, everyone else good." World affairs are seldom ever so simplistic. I support the average citizens of Ukraine in their fight against invasion, but to blanket support their government or military is just not taking all facts into consideration. Putin is bad, but so are oligarchs in every government, the US and Ukraine included.

Shutting down conversations and living in echo chambers is not how these problems get solved. We should support robust discussions from all sides of the conflict.
