<center>I care too much about people. Is that even possible? Some people leave a hole in your heart that is impossible to fill. As we move toward the second half of our life, dealing with this kind of loss will (unfortunately) become more common and we will become more practiced in how to remember the best in people. I would hope that people could ferret out what was the best of me and overlook my shortcomings when they look back at what was me.</center>

<center>I believe that most people are kinder to the dead than the living. I have seen legends made out of mere mortals. Let's hope they all remember us that way. Most people are way more critical of themselves than I would ever dream of being. I am of the philosophy that love shared can be kept for eternity. It is those kindnesses and love that come to mind whenever I think of people who are no longer with me. In the last few days, I have had friends send me messages of love, so I have to say that people never cease to amaze me with their eloquent words and how they flow through their minds. I am most lucky in life, to have so many wonderful people to share it with.</center>

<center>There are those times, those circumstances in life, people you love, they are no longer here where you can reach out and touch them, even so, the love they shared with us is not gone. Love shared can be kept for eternity.</center>

<center>So, I have to ask, because love doesn't seem to be a huge problem in getting or giving. Our world needs to be loved, don't you think? I don't know anyone who wakes up wondering what country they can take over this morning. Then again, I realize it doesn't happen that way, but, it is possible that many people woke up this morning wondering how they could make peace in the world.</center>

<center>Delicate purple flowers nod their head. They not only live in harmony, it is the only way that they are more powerful in their statement. They are best together. Alone, they are just another pretty flower, but the impact is gone. I think about their perfect-ness and beauty.</center>

<center>Every once in a while, I like to visit *my people* in Arlington National Cemetery, then walk around to some random person,lay a flower or a rock on the top of the headstone, say their name, perhaps a prayer, and words of peace.</center>
