Let me start this post by conveying my appreciation to @surpassinggoogle for all he has been doing for all steemians, he selflessness is so amazing. No wonder many people are giving him lots of lots of titles the latest being the Steemit Encyclopedia as conferred on him by @salmanbukhari54 and I cannot agree less that he indeed an Encyclopedia. Thanks so much Mr. Terry, I wish you happy 2018.


This post is not only intended to convey my Happy New Year wishes to the Steemit Community but also my entry to #untalented contest. The contest is being organized by no other than @surpassinggoogle 

**My Story**

I joined this amazing community in July 2017 after attending a webinar organized by @eurogee, at first I was extremely skeptical because of the huge lost I encountered in Ponzi schemes earlier in that year. I took the patience of @eurogee to get me going and at a point I was like ‘what is his interest in me joining this community?’

**Amazing Adjustments**
 
Since joining Steemit, some notable amazing adjustments has occurred in my life and am very grateful to the Almighty God and all the instruments involved in actualizing them.

I have learnt so many good and new things through this community, one of which is about crypto currency, my ignorance over crypto was simply occasioned by reading a lot of negative information and junks over cryptocurrencies and how they work. But today Steemit has not only cleared my mind over it but also has offered me an opportunity to benefit from it. 

Before I joined Steemit, I wasted a lot of time online and money surfing many social networks which has never added anything to my pocket, but Steemit gave me a new idea and made me a CEO overnight.

Secondly Steemit has shaped my life by teaching me how much we need each other to grow. Before now, I am among the people that believe that success is an individual thing, but now Steemit not only exposed me into a new dimension of understanding of success but also steemit has transformed me to a giver. Now am more selfless, patient to learn and above all, better informed courtesy of Steemit.

Obviously, the difference between a poor man and a rich man is information. Steemit informed me and therefore made me richer that I was before joining, as a matter of fact, all the 2017 Christmas and 2018 New year expenses were comfortably taken care of by Steemit. 

Finally, if there is any regret about joining Steemit, it should be my addictedness to Steemit. My neighbor who recently complained that am now so addicted to my phone and PC is getting reading to join Steemit as she became interested after a give her a gift this past Christmas and told her that ‘it was that thing that got met addicted to phone and PC that provided the money for the gift I gave you’ since then she has called me twice to remind me that she is really interested in joining and I promised to guide her as soon as they return from the Christmas and New year celebrations.
