Mid-week sometimes got so hectic and preparing food can be a challenge. Nonetheless, this recipe will guarantee saving ones time while looking forward for a hearty meal. Ingredients: 4 pieces pork chop (marinated with oil and ground black peppers) 1 tbsp. olive oil 1/4 white wine (left over) optional 4 stalks celery ( chopped into cubes) 1 Onion (diced) 2 medium size carrots (cubes) 1 tbsp. mixed herbs 3 cups water salt and pepper Serves 2 persons Procedure: In an oven proof cookware saute the chopped onions, carrots and celery. Then add the pork chop. Pan fry until sealed. Then drizzle with the white wine Then toss all the ingredients. Add the mixed herbs Arrange all the ingredients so that the pork chop will be on the top. Add the water, let it boil and then cover it to simmer for few minutes. Meanwhile the oven should have been pre-heated in 180C ready to simmer the pork chop for 45 minutes then lower the temperature to 170 for another 1 hour and 15 minutes.
