Sameodes cancelalis , also called the striped pearl moth , is a species of moth in the Crambidae family.

This moth is widespread and has been recorded in India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina , Taiwan, Japan, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, New Guinea , western and southern Africa, Fiji, the Cook Islands , and Queensland , Australia.

At first glance, this insect is indeed left with a butterfly in terms of its physical form, but this small animal is a moth family.

That's just a little description of the moth insect that I have displayed here and I have also added to my observations in the iNaturalis community.
