Not always about price.

One thing I always loved about Apple products is that they don’t fuck around with price even when people know that they are paying so much for the product they are getting. I know some people might argue and say is because they have the best gadgets in the market but even before Apple become multimillion dollars company they place crazy prices on their products and this is because they understand that is not always about the price.

Price affects the way people buy something but we all know that when it comes to selling good products people will do anything just to get the best thing and most people don’t care at the end of the day about price all they want is a quality product and most importantly enjoy what they are spending their hard earn money on.

This is the first mistake most people do when they compete with somebody in a business, they thought reducing the price and reducing the quantity of their product will actually attract more customers and at first, it may work but later when people realize their product is not as good as before again will change people’s mind and their trust in the product will die.

Androids are making crazy phones these days but they still can’t change the heart of the masses toward Apple because of the ecosystem and chip. We can learn from Apple that the focus shouldn’t be on the price when competing, the main fight should be producing the best product as possible for your consumers and not destroying the trust you have built over the years because you are trying to lower the price.

People paying for a certain service are not a fool and immediately you start changing the quality of your product they will notice and might stop patronizing you but if you have a way you can cut the price and still produce the best product is always a nice strategy. We must stop attacking price in other to get more customers but our main focus should be producing the best product for our customers and by that time even if we increase our price people will still patronize it.
