Good day steemit friends! Guys do you use cellphone protective clear case? It is a simple transparent case that protects your gadget in scratches, why not we add art to make it special and look very cool! I made this art just for you guys! So im hoping you will like it for your clear case. My model: J7 2016 and J7 Pro with my very artistic work, done it with ordinary water color and art paper cut-out for the steemit logo. ### ***My Work Process*** Really, this is my first time using water color, so im not sure what will i create to make a good one. I've decided to go first on practicing by using a coupon bond then to get the excact size of the clear case, i stencil it using a pencil. Then i started applying the water color in the lower part with a light color yellow. Then followed a layer of light colors of orange and red. Then color it light blue, blue, green and light green. You will noticed that the colors did not mixed here, since i only use a bond paper. A water color paper is the right medium when using a water color. .jpg) Here is my example using a water color paper. Trace the clear case with a pencil. I made 4 copies here. Then cut it individually. I trace the hole of the clear case for the camera. Now its time to paint water color art. I did not use any reference here, i just paint an image of a pink petal of a flower. Then paint the stem in light green and the leaves in green color. Paint the whole flower in pink. Paint another set of leaves with a mixed color of light green and light blue. Paint another layer on the flower with red color. Then applied a mixed color of light blue and sky blue to the background. I found its really hard for me to use water color, since im a newbie on using this kind of medium, as a result my work did not turned well here, as you can see that some colors interact to eachother. Maybe i can improve if i consistently practice using water color in my art. ### ***Practice Makes Progress*** I continue painting this water color paper for my cell phone clear case artwork. I paint a half layer of colors on slanting style here. Continue applying layers of color to completely cover the whole area. Then cut out a hole for the camera's outlet. After the painting, cut it on the pencil line with a scissor. The combination of colors looks very fine. ### ***Adding a steemit logo to my artwork.*** Draw a small steemit logo using a mechanical pencil. Cut it out with a small cutter. Slowly cutting it to prevented damaging the logo, a cutter surely a very sharp tool and a very useful tool in use for a cut out art. Then paste it at my artwork at the lower center. Here is the finish work, i already attached it to my clear case to my J7 Pro. It looks very cozy for me! ### ***Lets Do Another One for the J7 2016*** Done the same procedure here; trace the cover case on the paper with a pencil, trace the hole for the camera, camera flash and speaker. Cut out with a cutter. Lets do a different style on painting the paper here. Choose any color, then point the brush upward, make a round paint by slowly and gently rolling the brush handle by your two fingers. Do it simultaneously and you may choose any color you want. Make sure you completely cover the whole paper, to make it look more beautiful. Then cut the sides on the pencil line. Draw the small steemit logo, cut it out with a cutter and paste it at your artwork. And its done! ### ***Thank you steemit friends! I really hope my artwork does a little help to you and makes a progress for me and to your art skills by doing some practice like this simple and very easy to do artwork. More steem power to you guys! God bless us all steemians and our family too!***
