Carmelo Anthony was all over the headlines this offseason as he still couldn't find his way back to the NBA. People are even wondering why he hasn't found a new team while a much worse player than him earned some roster spots in the league. He was then denied to join Team USA for a chance to redeem himself. People are even speculating him to join the Big 3 league and prove himself there. But recently, looks like the New York Knicks gave him a chance and invited him in an informal scrimmage. It just shows that the Knicks are showing interest in bringing him back in the NBA. The Knicks have no chance to make it to the playoffs next season, which means it can be another year of tanking. So, what I'm pointing here is, even if they bring Carmelo Anthony back and it didn't work out, there is nothing to lose for the Knicks. They have to do it now. Melo was their franchise player for a long time and showing some love isn't bad with how the Knicks direction looks like this season.
