In the year 2017, @burlarj, a friend I met on 2go told me about the hive Blockchain. Reluctantly I joined, I probably wouldn't have written any post if he didn't tell me of his payment. I didn't believe in online activities. Hearing about cryptocurrency was strange, but what gave me the confidence to take the step was the fact that we were friends and I knew he wouldn't want to swindle me into doing what was fraudulent. The hive Blockchain was my first crypto platform and the very place I started learning about web3 and Blockchain. 

My first experiences were horrible, but what kept me going was the fact that I had no high expectations when I joined. I just wanted to try, and knowing I could develop my writing skills on the platform, I became more enthusiastic. The ups and downs I experienced during this period became my stepping stones to understanding Blockchain as a whole. I mined a few airdrops I didn't take seriously but are the trending coins now and I joined several platforms that paid at start but folded up eventually. Every one of my web3 journeys was a sharp tool in shaping my success. With physical evidence I was able to recruit every friend I met, more than 50 of them on hive and other cryptocurrency platforms. It was easier with evidence and the reputation they had about me.

Today I know at least 70% about web3. I was never afraid to try new things. With each loss came knowledge and this I have shared with everyone I met.  Whatever I want to learn, I give a few hours of my time. Today I know virtually what every symbol means, and I learn whichever I don't know. I have been able to understand a few cryptocurrency terminologies and abbreviations and a few ways to earn using Blockchain features.  The boy who was once a novice is now a veteran in cryptocurrency but my journey in web3 started with hive.
