The events over the last couple days have been exciting, confusing, stressful, intense.  

## What's going on???  

Lots of people are asking me.  In simple, Justin Sun got the exchanges to power up and vote his 'new' witnesses into power.

I filled with the SEC about Binance, and today I am going to fill against Huobi.  Some people are telling me it is stupid to get the government involved.  They might be right, but I did it anyway.

I personally believe that this move fits into a much larger geopolitical context, about crypto, about governments and about power.  These are very interesting times we live in, and I don't think hiding under a rock is going to make it all come out better.

## But, what will happen to STEEM?

Its up in the air, but two chains is a possibility.  Currently the PAL community is organizing resistance in [their discord](https://discordapp.com/invite/HXTWJzJ)

Most people are just scared that it will be them getting screwed in the end.

Now steemit inc people are resigning.  I thought @andrarchy had a pretty good head on his shoulders, but this guy only seemed really good at producing code we never agreed with.

So here is the crux of everything, FUND members.  Steemit Inc was bad, a communist take over is probably worse, but how do we finish this heading for greener pastures?

## REMEMBER WHAT YOU ARE HERE FOR

The Fund is here to build on blockchain and support builders building on blockchain.  There is no outcome of this that will stop us.  We can build on two chains, three chains, 10 chains!  We are watching, and opining.

Our preferred ending?  Take quality content, EIP and Steemit.com over to TRON.  Leave us with a fast and free chain to build games and other dapps on.  take social media, take blogging, take 'community' and follow the money.   Then maybe people will see steem as a blockchain, not a failed social media experiment.
