Ghost forests are forests that got flooded with salt water and killed all or some of the trees in a specific location. There are a lot of ghosts forests deep within the pinelands of South Jersey. These photos were all taken by me with my trusty old Canon Rebel t6 in Cape May County, New Jersey, during several trips and stops near the Delaware Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. I went to Moore's Beach and the sand dunes in Avalon. Some photos required a lot of walking on nature trails, while other photos I just pulled over on the side of the road. I wouldn't walk through that tall flood land grass. There's a lot of that down here.
