[google](wikipedia) *Today's Topic:* *ACCEPTABLE OFFERINGS ARE WITHOUT BLEMISH* *📖Bible Reading:* Leviticus 22:17-20, NLT:- 17 And the Lord said to Moses, 18 “Give Aaron and his sons and all the Israelites these instructions, which apply both to native Israelites and to the foreigners living among you. “If you present a gift as a burnt offering to the Lord, whether it is to fulfill a vow or is a voluntary offering, 19 you will be accepted only if your offering is a male animal with no defects. It may be a bull, a ram, or a male goat. 20 Do not present an animal with defects, because the Lord will not accept it on your behalf. *🔑 Key Verse:* “ _You shall offer of your own free will a male without blemish from the cattle, from the sheep, or from the goats. Whatever has a defect, you shall not offer, for it shall not be acceptable on your behalf_.” - Leviticus 22:19-20, NKJV *The Message:* It is not too difficult to know the type of offering that is acceptable to God. It has to be a free will offering – not offered under compulsion and it has to be without blemish. While it is easy to detect defects on the animals brought to the temple, it is difficult to do so for money offered in church. However, the source of any money offered to God must be clean. Our God is not only interested in what we offer to Him. He is also very much interested in the source of the offering. We should not offer God ridiculous offerings. What we will be ashamed to offer to man should not be offered to God. There are people who love to spend neat notes in social parties but bring dirty ones to the church. Do not be satisfied with just giving your offerings to God; make sure they are acceptable ones to God. Any offering that is not acceptable to God is a waste of resources. Let us learn to go before the Lord with clean hands and hearts. God does not just look at what we offer; He is very particular about the condition of our hearts.
