Steemit, platform for entrepreneurs?
In the past few years, more and more businesses are shifting from the conventional marketing to the new social media marketing.

**The main reasons are:**
- cost effective
- consumers really pay attention to ads

Facebook is really big in this space and they have a clever way of delivering relevant ads to the potential consumers.

I have to admit, most of the ads that we will run in the future will be done in Facebook and Instagram. We think that our business will do much better by advertising our products in those platform.

Is it a conflict that we want to integrate our business to Steem ("decentralized") but we are still utilizing "centralized" social network like Facebook or Instagram? We believe not.

In fact, we might even help bring more attention about the Steem blockchain. If we are to look at the grand scheme of our plan, the ads that we will post in Facebook will have to mention the integration of our business with Steem. In addition, it will also indicate that we accept Steem as a digital currency that can be used to purchase our products.

The big question is...

Will Facebook allow that kind of ads to spread into their platform? I'm not really sure. The worst case is that we will be banned and they will discontinue to roll-out our ads.

Maybe the Steemians who experienced this could advise us about this case. Have you ever posted or used Facebook ads to promote crypto related products or a business that utilize crypto in Facebook or Instagram?

Please share your experience or thoughts about this topic.

In the case of Steemit, business that offer digital products or services are thriving because of the support of the Steem community. That's a really cool thing about our platform, Steem users patronize projects, dapps, and even games that are built on top of the steem blockchain. These are the businesses that has the capability to become global.

Contrary to what we have, our operation only caters for a local community. Unless we can find a way to shift our baked goods across countries then that's the only way we can serve all steemians across the globe.

Going back to the question, is Steemit a suitable platform for entrepreneurs?

At the moment, Steemit does not have the sufficient tools to cater for the needs of all kinds of business yet. But what it have is a loyal community that patronize steem & the products being offered in the platform.

That is what we believe to be the strongest asset of Steem. Let's see how it goes as it goes mainstream.

#### Cheers everyone!
