I was impacted heavily by the word of God. Brother, elaborated on HELP.
Why it is necessary to help others..

Galatians 6:9 
Let us not be weary in well doing, for in due time we shall reap if we faint not.

From this scripture of the word of God, we learn that maintaining a positive attitude in helping others is absolutely of necessity. It says, "let us not be weary, for in due time"...this tells us that helping others might at some point become tiring and there's a temptation to give up, but here we are encouraged and assured of a reward for well-doing/helping others.

But how do we handle the temptations of not helping others?
Firstly what are some if these temptations?:

Ingratitude: Some of us tend to ignore the needs of others when they become ungrateful.. this is where we must encourage ourselves in the lord holding on to Galatians6:9

2 Vain Glory: some of us want to help others for the sole purpose of 'showing off'(want men to praise you), that's not what the bible encourages us to do. When you give for men to praise you, there's no more reward from God.. 
Matthew6:2

It is a privilege to be in a position to help others and as such should be done responsibly.

The bible says Give and it shall be given to you, good measures, pressed down, shaken together, running over shall they give unto your Bossom.. Luke 6:38 

We can give our support/assistance to others in showing love, giving counsel, rendering services, sharing food, offering money etc.. there are lots of ways to give help to others. It is necessary to find anyway that is possible to you, to help others as God helps us in return.

When you help others, you attract help too from God and men.
