Many people live their lives preparing to compete at every stage forgetting that, as it is life, there will always be something to compete for.

Life is to be lived and not survived.
A competitive individual will always be battle-drawn even over the smallest stuffs thereby killing the fun before the game starts.

#### We are competing already.
 Life and everything else that is needed to help us move from age zero till when we leave planet earth is a competition.

Don't concern yourself with the competition, try to see the picture ahead which shows you how you will dash through the ribbon and claim the trophy.

The good thing about going in for the win rather than for the competitive aspect of the competition is that, no matter how the result turns out, you will have put in your best at doing something for the win and having some fun while the journey lasted. 

Being competitive is good but it shouldn't be the header on anyone's resume because, the habit of competing soon takes over the desire to win.

#### Stars win in competitions.
Stars like **Ronaldo, Messi, Nadal, Federer, Djokovic, Selena Williams, Usain Bolt, Michael Phelps, Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel, Tiger Woods, Mayweather, etc** all have a different approach to the game and that is, *"their desire to win no matter how fierce the competition may be."*

The moment you get into a game, you already are in a competition, why do you need to make it about competing instead of winning?

**In life and in anything you find yourself doing, go in for the win and stop making it about being competitive.** 
*You may get blindsided by your competitive force is that is all you are in the game for.* 

Only winners are crowned at the end of the game and those who were competitive are barely acknowledged. 
The winner takes it all!
