I am cringing while shaking my head in sadness as I wrote this article.
Why would a system that is supposed to be beneficial become one that pulls you back?
Why will anyone want to start out great only to end up worse than shit?

The Nigerian system of governance is one that is painted and dressed up in corruption. A kind of corruption where the leaders are in connivance with the enemies to bring the nation down by all means.

The problem now is more about the people being enslaved by a select few rather than being enslaved by foreigners.
To make it to the corridors of power takes crime, blood and indecency; the man who works hard mostly ends up broke and worse for wear.

How can anyone be happy after seeing how for 33 years they have continually retrogressed instead of progressing? They have moved from the top of the ladder back down to the bottom which isn't where they should be.

The recently concluded elections came with so much chaos and war. Lives and properties were lost for no reason other than the fact that, the 0.1% needed to still remain in power so they can continue looting.

A Nation with abundant of manpower and human resources is continually featured on the list of **"World's poorest countries."**
How does a civil servant even start to cope with what is happening?
What about their pensions? Well, some of these individuals who are leaders steal these pensions and get a gentle pat on the back for being corrupt.

Right now, I am not feeling like looking at the state of the nation because it stares me right in the eyes.
**How do you reconcile the figure, work done and years put out in the image above?**
