**About Me**

Hey everyone! This isn't exactly my first post here, but @lovesniper commented on my first post about introducing myself to the community, and this seemed like a good idea to get to know everyone as well. Anyway, I'm Edge and I'm from the Philippines. Specifically, I live in the southern part of Metro Manila. We're currently on General Community Quarantine Alert Level 4 (pretty long, I know) so we're mostly still limited in what we can do. I have a lot of thoughts about this, but I already work in Public Health so I really wanna escape from work even just for a while. I'm a bit shy so I'm just gonna leave a photo of just my back but with a very nice view of the ocean. **Discovering Hive**

As I wrote in my previous post, I actually discovered Hive through Splinterlands. My partner and I were looking through NFT games that didn't have such a high entry point, which brought us to Splinterlands. I talked about it quite a bit in my first post so I'll just leave it at that. It is amazing though that there's a whole platform like this where content can immediately be monetized. I'm not really a stranger to monetized content as I have some experience posting for brands, but usually, you have to already have the following for brands to work with you so it's cool that even those starting out can take advantage of this setup.

**Interests**

Prior to the pandemic, I traveled a lot so I'll probably be posting some of the places I've visited before we got locked down. I'll be really interested to see everyone's travels as well. Hopefully, we get to travel here again soon. I'd love to go to the beach again. It's been ages since I've been near a body of water.

Anyway, I'm also a big #FOODIE, it's actually food that's one of the biggest factors when I travel. I even make a food itinerary whenever I'm going somewhere. I will probably be writing about food, as well as the things I cook at home. Ever since we've been on lockdown, dining-in has been pretty limited so I try to experiment with recipes at home so I've got quite a bit of content regarding that. So for now, I'll leave you with something I've cooked recently.

Finally, I will probably be writing about games, whether it be NFT games and or traditional console games. I've always been such an RPG fan and I would be happy to share my favorite games with you all. If you're curious, aside from Splinterlands, I'm currently playing Genshin Impact and Dragon Quest 11. My all-time favorite games though are from the PS1 era, particularly Suikoden 2.
