With the evolution of Steemit and the emergence of DApps, we've had a lot of opportunities beyond posting on our blog (as usual). Today we have more than 15 DApps made by geniuses and leaders of the Steemit community, which give us the opportunity to show our content in different dynamics, from video platforms linked to the blockchain, live broadcasts, to the opportunity to have a small space for our drawings and works of art directly connected to our blog.

In today's post we want to talk to you about the Elegance platform, how it works and how you can use it.

<h2><center>What is it?</center></h2>

Elegance works as a platform in which a diversity of artists can present their content. Whether you are a digital artist or a traditional one, elegance allows you to make your publications in a comfortable way and make your content look like a gallery.

Like many Dapps, Elegance uses the Steem blockchain as a decentralized database so you can use your Steem account to access the tool.

<h2><center>How to use it?</center></h2>

First we must enter the following link: https://elegance.blue/

Once there we will observe a page equal to the following one:

This website only shows contents created under the same Elegance platform, working as a filter for artistic content, however all the publications created through it will be reflected in the various platforms such as busy, steemit, steempeak, mspsteem, among others for which curators, projects and users in general will be able to view your work.

We will see two options:

- <b>Sign up:</b> allows you to log in to https://signup.steemit.com/ and create an account if you are not a steemit user.
- <b>Log in:</b> if you already have an account just click on it and it will redirect you to a steemconnect tab. We will click alli since we are blockchain users and we will see the following message:

Clicking continue will prompt us for our username and password whether it is: owner, active or master password. We will use the active password.

This step allows us to authenticate using steemconnect and thus prevent third party programs from storing your passwords. Always verify that the login web page starts with <code>https://steemconnect.com/</code>

When logging in we'll notice that the top right icon changes and we'll see our profile image.

<h2><center>Posting in Elegance.</center></h2>

We have already learned to log in to Elegance, however, as an audience? Well, the elegance interface is very similar to the one observed in pages like busy.org or steemit.com. In it we just have to click on the pencil icon next to your user image and it will take us to a page like this:

We can observe several elements such as:

- <b>Title bar:</b> allows you to place the title to your publication.
- <b>Topics:</b> here you must choose the five tags to use in your publication.
- <b>Text box:</b> to write the content of the post.
- <b>Reward:</b> You can choose between receiving 50% SBD/50% SP or having 100% of your reward become SP.
- <b>Like this post:</b> allows automatic upvote as soon as the content is published (we recommend deactivating this option.)
- Publication button (Post).</b>

Extra elements:

- <b>Word counter.</b>
- <b>Drafts:</b> This tool is one of the advantages of elegance. Unlike Steemit.com or other tools, elegance saves a copy of your publication as a draft in the cloud, so you do not need to be on the same pc to edit the content.

Once we have finished creating our content just click on <img src="https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmTpzd39Dcodar5Bt1MZSZygCupTRFUFF94TZDztzbadAJ/image.png"/> and we will see how after a few seconds we will be redirected to the post published.

Likewise if we visit our blog in some of the other dapps we can see our published content.
