*We demonstrated yesterday our current implementation of Aramea features.* *Now comes your quick crash course about what there is there!* --------- ## What is Aramea? --------- Aramea is one of three evacuation stations available since EXODE began and has since then become player-owned. There are 1000 shares of Aramea, each connected to a specific "seat" in the ownership control board. Owners can enjoy benefits such as proposing a better station for players, pilots becoming "sponsored" (you will get a share of evacuated pilots activity in the new galaxy), specific projects, events and governance, and to top it all, **card renting**. With the latest release of the Colonization Challenges weekly games, we are also preparing to deploy **Aramea Challenges** as a bonus. Some of these features are related to future content. But we have done a very big leap forward here about: Governance, Aramea Projects and Card Renting. Want to try it out? We initially reserved the preview to owners, but if it can get you interested in seats, it's only beneficial to Aramea owners. The preview is there: [**Open Aramea Preview** ](https://exode.io/game/aramea/) Now let's get deeper! --------- ## Player Projects --------- Player Projects is a main section of Aramea The one holding the highest number of seats in a control section becomes its leader. Every control section will give to the controller the ability to start a project. Once started, a project will receive progress toward its completion at set times every day. Projects can add **new options**, automatic production of resources, more attractiveness, evacuation mechanics and advantages, personal gains to seat holders and so much more. > Having control on a slot means that you can decide on what project to launch. > > In current preview, you see 10 project slots as if there would be one for each Aramea section of 100 shares. > > But in final version, we should **start** with 4 project slots (one for each group of 250 shares), meaning the ability to launch 4 simultaneous projects, and one bonus slot controlled by the Station Director. > > Through events, players will be able to decentralize this and increase the number of slots, first with 5 slots (one for each group of 200 shares), then 8 (one per 125 shares), then 10 (one per 100 shares). --------- ## Player Resources --------- Projects can only be started if you have appropriate resources in Aramea Storage. A number of resources will be made available in this screen. Resources are almost entirely received in the beginning by incoming resource convoys, through you can complete projects to claim private or corporate cargo, activate production or contribute personal storage. > Fun and practical thing: **tourists** can be targeted by a project to verify them and claim them for 'station activity', which will reduce station reputation but transform them into their appropriate "jobs" (Scientists, Artists etc). --------- ## Player Governance --------- **Events** will involve important decisions to add projects, resources, sponsoring options, or even change the voting structure or number of votes. They can also involve reaction to catastrophic events or ambiguous situations. > In addition, some events can be "proposed" by the station director or by influential groups. > > In that case they will get a specific "personal event" that will decide on their version to propose to the board the next week. Events will invite owners to vote by clicking on their opinion about the current proposal. **Players have an influence for the vote equal to the number of seats they hold.** They can also join a "shareholder group" which will be able to vote in their stead with all the grouped votes, and receive more influence. The first vote will actually be about the voting structure: **with the ability to even refuse the structure proposed by EXODE development, and suggest another.** The advantage of working with an indie, is that we are flexible and able to develop this fast. --------- ## Card Renting --------- Card Renting is the ability to propose one of our own cards and put it up for sale, locking it up to another owner but only for a temporary time (then you get its control back), and receive crypto coins for the deal. We represented this ability in Aramea with an access to "Docks", with each dock representing a card renting slot. By confirming a transaction, you will be able to assign your cards to your Docks. This will automatically make these cards available in our new colonization to all our new players. Thanks to a **unified sale bridge**, which we will demonstrate as a fully functional feature in our next colonization demo, you will actually have **nothing else to do**! Everything else will be automatic and you will just receive the currency to your account! > Assigning cards can have separate benefits: as long as they are assigned, your cards also trigger some support to the station activity. ------ ------ *That's all for our first crash course into Aramea features!* *There will be more to come once you get access to its final version.* *If you want to take advantage of EXODE packs, it's still time to do so at [**our website**](https://exode.io), or to ask questions [**in our discord**](https://discord.com/invite/GZcYNXz)!* *[**EXODE**](https://exode.io) is a game currently on HIVE with a currently playable Evacuation, a [**challenge game loop**](https://peakd.com/hivegaming/@elindos/exode-at-hyperspeed-now-join-the-new-gameplay-season-one) that you can play every week, and a new colonization gameplay coming up.* *Watch out for a new pack announced this Thursday, December 11th!*
