Is there anyone else out there as baffled about the sport of curling as I am?

I get the aim of the game, but the whole broom sweeping on ice in front of a stone is just weird. Even writing that sentence just then didn't sound right. 

Anyway, once again, in the spirit of the games, I drew a fun little illustration...
