Il lavoro di oggi che ho intitolato _**Flood**_, è il frutto di una tecnica chiamata *compositing*.
Il *compositing* è la composizione di diversi elementi creati o comunque provenienti da varie fonti e poi assemblati in modo da creare un'unica immagine finale. Spiegata un po' alla veloce, è una tecnica molto usata in cinematografia tramite l'utilizzo del *green screen* o *blue screen*, dove gli attori recitano in una stanza completamente verde o blu e in post produzione viene aggiunta la scenografia al computer, in questo modo se il budget della pellicola non è molto alto o se si tratta di film girati, per esempio, nello spazio o in epoche diverse, si sostituisce tutto ciò che è verde o blu con la scenografia desiderata. Questo avviene in cinematografia.
Per quanto riguarda il mio progetto, ho utilizzato 4 software differenti: per il veliero ho usato *Daz3d Studio*, per la Torre Eiffel ho usato *Sketchup Pro*, per il mare e il cielo con le nuvole ho utilizzato *Lumion 3d* e con *Photoshop* ho "assemblato" i vari pezzi. Sempre con *Photoshop* ho dovuto rifinire la scena, non è che basta fare un copia e incolla degli oggetti! Ho disegnato le onde che si infrangono sul veliero, l'ombra della Torre Eiffel, la luce del sole all'orizzonte e la trasparenza delle vele. Ho lavorato sui colori e sulle luci cercando di amalgamare i diversi soggetti per creare una singola immagine.
**Daz3d** è un software per la creazione di oggetti e personaggi in 3d di cui ho ampiamente parlato nei mie post precedenti.
**Sketchup** è un software di modellazione 3d utilizzato principalmente per la progettazione architettonica.
**Lumion 3d** è un software di *Realtime Rendering* utilizzato per creare rendering fotorealitici e animazioni.
**Adobe Photoshop** è il più completo software per il fotoritocco.
Per concludere, la tecnica del **compositing** ci fa capire che con il computer e un po' di conoscenze di grafica digitale si può creare qualunque cosa la nostra fantasia ci chieda.

Today's work, entitled _**Flood**_, is the result of a technique called compositing.

As for my project, I used 4 different software: for the sailing ship I used *Daz3d Studio*, for the Eiffel Tower I used *Sketchup Pro*, for the sea and the sky with clouds I used *Lumion 3d* and with *Photoshop* I "assembled" the various pieces. Still with *Photoshop* I had to finish the scene, it's not enough to just copy and paste the objects! I designed the waves crashing on the ship, the shadow of the Eiffel Tower, the sunlight on the horizon and the transparency of the sails. I worked on colors and lights trying to mix the different subjects to create a single image.
**Daz3d** is a software for creating objects and 3d characters that I have widely discussed in my previous posts.
**Sketchup** is a 3D modeling software used primarily for architectural design.
**Lumion 3d** is a *Realtime Rendering* software used to create photorealitic renderings and animations.
**Adobe Photoshop** is the most complete photo editing software.
To conclude, the **compositing** technique makes us understand that with the computer and a bit 'of knowledge of digital graphics can be created whatever our imagination asks us.
