So the king of Jericho sent orders to Rahab: “Bring out the men who have come inot your house, for they have come here to spy out the whole land.” – Joshua 2:3

Rahab was a woman of great faith, humble and noble, she entrusted her faith in God by protecting the Jewish spies who invaded Jericho to gather intelligence for the Israelites from the King of Jericho. Remember in the time of these actions of great faith and trust in the Lord, Rahab was a prostitute, yet still that did not stop here from coming out, being brave and doing what ought to be done.

You are a Christian and a Child of God, you have faith in the Lord and in his Son Jesus Christ, you believe you are saved and that someday you will make it into heavenly place that Christ went to prepare for us, yet still you are afraid to step out and do the will of God. You afraid to do what ought to be done. You are afraid of people whose power only exist in this realm and cannot go beyond. Rahab allowed herself to be used by God, so what is stopping you?

When you are challenged in your faith because of your past or your environment, take courage and do what is right and know that God is with you and that he will never forsake you. You are very valuable to his mandate. Stay blessed and May the Good Lord Be with us all.
