As EOS mainnet launch is fast approaching (June 2, 2018, 11:00 PM GMT+1, but its advisable to register before 1st June, 2018),  most steemians still find it difficult and confusing to register their EOS token on MEW or Metamask because most activities they do are on their phones.

The purpose of this tutorial is to show steemians simple steps on how to register  EOS token using Imtoken.

The tutorial will be in 2 parts:
a) Transferring your EOS token from Binance to imtoken
_Incase you haven't bought EOS yet, you can use this tutorial [How to buy EOS with STEEM on BINANCE](https://steemit.com/eos/@samstickkz/how-to-buy-eos-with-steem-on-binance)_  from @samstickkz 
b) Registering your EOS token on imtoken wallet

What is imtoken? 
>imToken is a Safe, Simple, Powerful light-wallet, which supports multi-tokens, DApps, HDWallet, address book, transaction push notification

## <center>PART A:</center>Transferring your EOS token from Binance to imtoken

**STEP 1**
- Download imtoken on playstore or app.
- Create wallet

- Copy your Ethereum wallet address

**STEP 2**
- Login to your binance account (for those that still has their EOS token in binance) 
- Click on EOS as shown in the picture below

**STEP 3**
- You be redirected to another page
- Click on withdrawal button

**STEP 4**
Input the details correctly
- Enter the quantity of EOS you wish to transfer 
- Copy and paste the eth address you copied from imtoken
- Then click on withdrawal. 

Within few seconds the EOS token will reflect on imtoken

_Note: a transaction fee of 0.3 eos (approximately $6) will be charged._


## <center>PART 2:</center> Registering your EOS token on imtoken wallet 

**STEP 1**
- Open imtoken
- Click on Discover

**STEP 2**
You will be redirected to another page 
- Click on Candy

**STEP 3**
- Click on EOS Mapping

**STEP 4**
After Clicking on EOS Mapping, you will get a popup notification
_'You have not done EOS wallet mapping before'_
- Click on Start

**STEP 5**
After Clicking on Start, you will be redirected to another page
- Copy the Public Key and Private Key to a safe place.
- Click on 'I confirmed Private Key is properly backed up'

**STEP 6**
- Input your private keys in the box provided to verify if you copied correctly.

- Tick the radio button and click on 'Have read precautions & mapping'

**STEP 7**
- You will be required to send 0 eth to an address to confirm the mapping process.
- you will be charged a few cents in order to process the transaction.

- Wait for the transaction to be confirmed

- You can check Eth transaction history to confirm when the transaction is processed.

**STEP 8**
- To confirm if the mapping was successful, Repeat Step 1 to Step 3.
- If you get this notification below, then you know it was a success.

### Its advisable to transfer your EOS token to an ERC20 compatible wallet so as to receive more airdrops from EOS.
