As usual, there were errands to run after work. I didn't quite run while doing them, but I certainly wasn't dawdling either. The shop I needed was somewhere else (yes, I ask for directions sometimes when I can't find something) and it required me to leave the shopping centre entirely and go across the road to a different section that I hadn't even known was there.

This place in the photo though, stopped me dead in my tracks and I was able to snap this pic before moving on. How incredibly inviting it looked. Perhaps it's the baskets and natural, earthy tones that made me feel like there was something in that shop that was welcoming me - "come inside" it was saying. I didn't have the time though and I was on a mission.

I quickly marched to my destination and got the goods I needed before heading back to this side as this is where I had parked my car. It was when I was paying the parking machine that I came across a wall of cushions. Aren't they lovely? I really like the ones with the floral patterns, I could see a few of these on my couch one day.

I went back home and sorted out my car fan - I had to rewire it myself as there were no couplings that I could purchase. It's now 100% operational and I celebrated a small victory. There was a work meeting that I had to attend so it was short-lived, but there was good food, some interesting discussion and then I came home and snuggled into my soft, fluffy blankets for the night.

In the middle of the night, I work up to my phone going mad with crypto alerts and price action. These alerts have been inactive for a while so I was very confused at first. XRP summary judgement had come through and in a half asleep fashion I tried to make sense of the news. Memories flashed through my head of where I was when the original lawsuit had been filed and the XRP that I bought thinking it would be a short time until the court ruled in their favour (I was very wrong - it was almost three years). I was almost convinced that I was dreaming when I read the alerts, it felt surreal and almost like a very harsh practical joke was being played on me.

Half asleep, I trapesed downstairs and opened my laptop, almost resenting the fact that I was pulled out of my dreams and my soft, warm and cozy little nest I was curled up in.

Opening the charts, I could barely believe my eyes. What a freaking cool win. Okay yes, it's half a win but still a win for the crypto community. I went to CoinMarketCap and looked at how the market was responding. My eyes didn't lie as many people around the world reveled in the news, knowing what this meant long term for the entire market and it was a nice poke in the eye for Gary Gensler too.

It is a big loss for the SEC.

I thought about the shop that I walked past so many hours before, absolute none the wiser to how today would change things. Not knowing that a few hours later I would be looking at the charts with different eyes - optimistic for a change.

I listened to a few videos and could hear how so many were absolutely elated by the news, almost in tears. That softened my heart. After seeing that someone purchased 8million Hive in the last few days, I wondered what it would feel like to one day own that much crypto. Would it feel different when you put in buy and sell orders? Would it change me you as a person? I felt like a small part of a big family of people stretched across the world who think differently and want something better for the world. Where we get to make our own choices - where the world banks can't decide for us and we manage our own finances. Where the planet is a better place as a result.

It felt warm and inviting, similar to that lovely shop I saw yesterday. I smiled as I closed my laptop knowing that today was a victory for us all.

How do you feel about today and what does it mean to you?
